PROBLEM:
Wool is usually in need of a water soluble topping to keep stitching above the fibers.  But removal with steam or other damp method can sometimes cause unwanted marks.

SOLUTION:
A small brush used for scrubbing human skin will help remove access topping without damaging the wool fibers or embroidery.  Gently brush around the edges of stitching.
